Deacon Trust was born in 1974 to his “hippie” parents somewhere between Boston and Berkley. He spent his childhood traveling with his parents and eventually settled near Athens, Georgia. All of Deacon’s work is made from found materials. He gets his boards from construction sites and paints from miss-matched colors being thrown out by hardware stores. He is proud of the fact that all his art comes from recycled materials, even his canvases are from dumpsters at art departments. He has work in many private collections in the U.S., Europe and Asia, as well as in the Asheville Museum of Art, The Pink House in Memphis TN, The Menillo Museum in Orlando, FL, and The Polk County Museum of Art in Florida. All his works are house paint on wood, signed, numbered and usually a message on back. Ready to hang and each has a photo of Deacon holding the piece and the size of this piece is 14"X15".
